MINI NORTHUMBRIAN TOUR

Saturday 6th July 2024

Pay as you feel

Two concerts of choral music for the Summer season set in the beautiful county of Northumberland. Fenham Ensemble will be joined by a local guest choir at each venue.

Time: 12 noon to 1pm

Fenham Ensemble with guests, Tyne Valley Voices at St Oswin's church, Wylam,

NE41 8AT

Time: 3.30pm to 4.30pm

Fenham Ensemble with guests, North Tyne Voices at St Peter's Church, Humshaugh, Hexham NE46 4AA

Our repertoire has been chosen to suit the Summer season - a mix of classical and lighter choral music including some lovely a cappella arrangements of well known songs made popular by the British vocal ensemble Voces8. We will also be celebrating the work of Charles Villiers Stanford, marking one hundred years since the composer's death on 29th March 1924.
